About eDiocese

The eDiocese Network was developed to deliver training and information to Catholics throughout the United States. It offers an inexpensive and accessible alternative to classroom-based training and reduces the need for printing, handling and shipping materials.  Because the eDiocese Network runs on a functional learning management system, it can also be used to register, track and report on staff, volunteers and other learners within a Diocese or individual parish. (The system can be used with classroom-based training, with diocese-developed/selected programs, or with the eDiocese’s own Creating Safe Environments series.)

In addition, when you register for any network program, you can have it immediately - -no waiting for order fulfillment or mail delivery. (So if you must complete your Safe Environment training before you participate in that youth weekend, it is entirely possible!)

The eDiocese Network is unique in that it allows parishes to serve individual parishioners at times and places convenient to them.

• No babysitters.

• No travel.

No schedule conflicts.

No waiting till there are enough people for a class or a reprint.

All programs/materials available on the site are developed, approved, and/or sponsored by a specific diocese for use within that diocese. Many programs are purchased by a diocese and furnished without cost to parishioners. While some programs are available for a fee, the goal is to make as many titles as possible available without cost to the individual parishioner.

The eDiocese Network is headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida.
